Now this is just cool. This original boxed copy of Ultima II for the Apple II just sold for $426.52 on eBay. This is a first run copy that includes the full color map and over-sized 8.5 x 11 inch box. For anyone with fond memories of Apple II gaming $400 is almost a steal. Almost.
Very rare. First printing copy of Ultima II, “The Revenge of the Enchantress…” This is the original version of Ultima II. Some people refer to this as the “big box” version, because it comes in on oversized 8.5″x11″ box. It also has the SierraVenture logo on the bottom; this was a particular product line of Sierra (which also includes Ultima: Escape from Mt. Drash) that disappeared by around 1984. The map included with this version contains the full “Sierra Online” logo at the bottom right.
I believe this to be complete. It even includes the errata card that says “You have one of the very first copies of Ultima II…”
Includes original box (shows some minimal signs of wear), manual, disks with sleeves, cloth map (Very nice!), “Galactic Map” reference card, and errata card. There is a small discolored area on the errata card. The rest of the materials look really quite nice.
