This mint and in box 1958 Lionel New Haven model train set sold for $4,150 on eBay. I grew up playing with my grandfathers prewar Lionels so I’ve got a soft spot for Lionels and model trains in general.
Take a look at these pictures. This is a Lionel #2507W set with all the boxes and paperwork from 1958. This Set is all original and in Outstanding Condition. There is NO issues at all. There is very little if any run time. The Original owner told me that he recieved it as a kid, played very little for less than one year and put it away for 40 years. I aquired it in 2000 and never used it. It has been in warm storage in a bedroom closet since. I hate to sell it but there are other interests at this time and I am selling off my Lionel and Marx collection. The person who is fortunate enough to win this gem will be very happy. I don’t know what else to say. The winner will pay shipping, handling, and insurance.
