This Apple Lisa recently sold for $537.87 on eBay. While the documentation shipped with the original Lisa only ever referred to it as The Lisa, officially, Apple stated that the name was an acronym for Local Integrated Software Architecture. Since Steve Jobs’ first daughter (born in 1978) was named Lisa Jobs, it is normally inferred that the name also had a personal association, and perhaps that the acronym was invented later to fit the name.
This Apple Lisa 2 has been upgraded to a Macintosh XL and has a 800 k floppy drive, 5mb internal hard drive, there is three expansion slots, There is no parallel port. The chip exchanged to make the unit a Macintosh XL is in the compartment next to the floppy drive.
Condition: Outside case has no broken parts, The key board works good, The help card under the key board is missing, The mouse works good. I’ve never had a problem boot the computer.
